When I first came across Handy.com, it was due to a craigslist ad. Of course at first I assumed it to be a scam, but after diving into it further, I realized that it was far from that. After digging up everything that I could about this site, I finally was able to put together this Handy.com review so you can learn if this is a possible employment opportunity for you.

Who Is It For?
This website is primarily for those who are looking for work and who would appreciate working according to their own schedules. This is also an opportunity for those who have no problem with working by themselves and taking on jobs that are known for their physical toughness.
As for support, it has been reported by several people who have worked for this company that there is hardly support given, both to the contractors and to the customers. In fact there is not a phone number to contact in case both the client and contractor come across an issue.
There are various mixed reviews about Handy.com and they range from fairly positive reviews to negative ones. Just take a look for yourself what some people are saying about this opportunity below.
In my honest opinion, this is not a bad opportunity. I have seen worse, but I have also seen much better opportunities. However, with the information I have gathered I can’t really recommend it. From the various complaints by different contractors, to the little support they offer and even reports of there not being enough jobs to go around, I see this opportunity as more of a headache then anything. Sure, this may be great for some extra cash, but in no way is a long-term, full-time financial solution.
Do try it out for yourself to see how it works for you. Just keep in mind to not expect too much from Handy.com.
